Dottie welcomes kids into her fun and wacky world where everyone is invited to play. Using catchy songs and cute cartoons, Dottie leads her friends as they sing, dance, learn, and laugh together! James is an aging, aristocratic daisy from France who laments at being "just another pretty face." James is easily flustered. He is the "straight flower" to Dottie's wackiness. And while he sometimes acts as if he'd prefer to be left to his tea, he is frequently caught bouncing his petals to the music. [top] Randal is a chubby, friendly little beaver whose naivete and curiosity sometimes get him into trouble. A bit nerdy, Randal is very gentle and loves "group hugs." He's also an enthusiastic singer (though seldom on key). [top] Randal's best friend, Motilda, is a sweet, energetic, little mouse who often pops up through the cushions of Dottie's peapod couch to say hello. Kind, sassy, and always willing to share, Motilda is a truly great friend and sets a good example for everyone in Dottie's magical world. [top] Though unable to move from her spot on Dottie's mantle, Uncanny, who looks 'uncannily' like two stacked-up cans, is always involved in the action. Uncanny rarely speaks -- she only sings while wagging her tongue through songs like, "I Can, Can, Can!" Uncanny prompts many sing-a-longs and adds a spicy musical note to any conversation in Dottie's world.
